The Assamites, as their names suggest, are the most common assasin among vampires. The clan comes from the Middle East, where they have a fortification. At that place they train new recruits for decades for the art of killing and stealth.
Nickname: Assassins
Sect: The Assamites hold Sabbat and Camarilla in equal contempt. Some joined the Sabat and a scattered few loners exist in the Camarilla.
Appearance: Assamites tend to dress stylisly but practically. Dark hair and slim, graceful builds dominate throghout the clan. Also, opposed to other vampires, their skin grown darker as they age - particularly ancient Assamites are almost ebony in complexion.
Haven: Most elders make their homes in Alamut, the clan stronghold, atop a high mountain in Turkey. Neonates abroad select remote, inaccessible locations to ensure that they receive no unexpected guests.
Clan Disciplines: Celerity, Obfuscate, Quietus
Weakness: This clan has two weaknesses. The members who were embraced before 1998 must tithe 10% of their blood that they garner as payment to their sires. In addition, they are not allowed to drink Kindred blood. This is the effect of a strong Tremere curse put on the clan, that damages the Assamites body if it dares to try the blood of a fellow Kindred.
Those created after 1998 are still affected by the curse - though indirectly. The long time lived without vampiric blood made the clan addictive to it. Every time an Assamites drink the vitae of a Kindred, she might become addicted. This might result of the subject making anything for getting more of the prcious red liquid.
Quote: Save your breath, weak one - no one will hear your screams. Now aid me on my journey back to Haquim's grace.
